• For those of you who may not check the Ancient Library of Lamentiones forums at all (or have never even visited the site), were running a logo design contest until November 14th. We ask that anyone interested enter, regardless of artistic talent. So buckle down, crack out the Paint or Photoshop, and work your wonderful magic!

• Got a small question. Not directly related to the contest but still to the forum.
  
  Why Invisionfree? Ever since part of their staff released Zetaboards the support for it has been abandoned. You wont be able to find new skins or mods. Compared to other free hosts like IpbFree its not great either. The latter even has a build in invisionfree-like module, but is much easier and better to use.
  
  Or were you planning to start over and change hosts when OB comes out anyways? If not, I would still consider it. I think it will be a much better idea than sticking to invisionfree. Just a piece of advice from a forum vet.

  Ive worked with Invisionfree for years, so its what I know how to work with. Since I didnt have anyone else on staff at the time I made the site and forums, I just winged it and went with what Ive worked with in the past rather than try looking for something Id spend weeks trying to organize.
  
  My lead designer and I do have plans for a forum migration, but Im not apt to release too much information at this time - partially because it is supposed to be a major surprise, but also because my lead designer hasnt contacted me in a while. I just sent her an e-mail to see whats up. In the end, though, Im not expecting to stick with InvisionFree. Cabana and I did, however, decide on a forum system to use, which any designers that I add to the team will be made aware of.
  
  All that said, Im still open to assistance offers if there are any designers thatd like to lend a hand to the site. Any and all help is appreciated, no matter how big or small. :)

• Allrite then, thanks for the reply :) Im curious to see what you guys are going with in the end so Ill be keeping an eye on the forum here.
  
  Personally I have been in the whole forum branch for a couple of years now as well, so its nice to see someone equal to that here. As a piece of advice: if you decide to go with a free host I recommend IpbFree. Until I started working with IPB it was a great host to work with. Since you are used to invisionfree it will be a breeze to make something nice out of it. PhpBB and vBulletin are popular alternatives too, the first allowing for alot of customization and the latter being a great choice for large boards.
  
  Anyways, enough of that If you need a hand I can always try can give one, but my area of expertise is community management and everything related to it. In other words, a nice and organized looking forum with a few features that is easy to use. Msn is captaineirikr@hotmail.com if you want to have a talk.
